SICC is owned by Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Yayasan Sabah Group. The Yayasan Sabah Group is a Sabah State Government Statutory Body incorporated to provide educational opportunities and facilities to Malaysians in Sabah. Accor Group is the appointed hospitality operations consultant for SICC. SICC is the largest waterfront purpose-built convention, exhibition and entertainment facility in East Malaysia. The complex's gross built-up is 60,504sqm on a 6-hectare site, with a total function space of 153,197sqm.
