Sideline Scout

Sideline Scout

Established in 2013 to pioneer video replay for High School football and then burst onto the Diving scene in 2016 with help from Olympic Head Coach Drew Johansen, SideLine Scout was the video replay and analysis system for the United States Olympic Diving team as they made a big jump in performance in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Due to the portability of SideLine Scout, the team was able to travel to Rio and use it in multiple practice sessions in preparation for the competition. In early 2018, the SideLine Scout team recognized a need as they traveled around the country working with swimming and diving programs for a hands-free low-cost system. Many pools use TiVo-like systems to provide a delayed replay for the athletes to view their previous dives. These systems have become old and antiquated, so to solve this problem SideLine Scout developed a High Definition hands-free delayed replay application called PoolSide Live. This application runs on an Apple TV and was designed specifically for the aquatic community.
