Silver Tree Studio

All the jewellery at SilverTree Studio is made by myself, Heather Andrews. I aim to produce unusual yet wearable pieces of jewellery which will be worn for many years to come. As a child I was always creative, and my earliest jewellery was fashioned from electrical wire and dressmakers pins. Eventually, I decided that it was time to fulfil my dream, and trained as a professional jeweller. I combine traditional skills with modern techniques, and primarily use silver, copper, pearls and gemstones. I gain a huge amount of satisfaction from both creating beautiful objects and from knowing that the recipients will gain pleasure from owning and wearing my pieces. As I am a perfectionist you will find that my work is finished to a high standard. I know that each customer is unique. It is important that you are treated as an individual with your own needs and requirements. Therefore, my jewellery can be tailored to suit you, often at no extra cost. A particular length, type of fastener or colour are all possible, and truly bespoke items can be created, perhaps for a special occasion or to compliment an outfit. Some jewellery incorporates hand-dyed silk and this can be matched to a colour in an outfit, an option often chosen by the mother of a bride or bridegroom. SilverTree Studio is situated in a Scottish National Park, in sight of Ben Lomond. The beauty of the natural world around inspires many of my designs. Living so close to nature caring for the environment has always been a way of life. At SilverTree Studio virtually nothing is wasted. Recycled packaging is available, and when chosen, SilverTree Studio makes a donation to the charity 'Action for M.E.' (see Ordering). I use partially recycled silver. This silver always meets the strict standards of purity required by the UK's Assay Office (Hallmarking). I aim to describe all items accurately and honestly, but please be aware that as each item is handmade, there will be some variation between individual pieces. If you wish, an image of the actual item you would receive, can be emailed to you before ordering. Your satisfaction is important and I strive to create quality items that you will enjoy.
