Temple Sinai

At Temple Sinai, we are committed to actively welcoming all and building a vibrant, inclusive congregational community. We seek to perform the mitzvot of ahavat hager (loving the stranger) and keruv (drawing near all who are far). We pursue these goals by inviting individuals and families to deepen their personal Jewish connections with our congregation. We seek to welcome and educate all, including new Jews-by-choice and those interested in investigating Judaism. We welcome interfaith families to take part in synagogue life, to learn more about Judaism, and to raise their childrenas Jews. We actively assist young adults in strengthening their Jewish connection and identity. We hope to inspire Jews to engage more fully in the synagogue community, especially those who feel disconnected or distant. We educate and sensitize our congregational community to be accepting of all who seek a place in our congregation. Please introduce yourself to us and let us introduce ourselves to you. Note: The text for this page is adapted from the mission statement of the URJ Commission on Outreach and Synagogue Community.
