Swedish International Relief Association

SIRA is a Swedish foundation running two schools in Palestine. The schools specialize in education for children aged from 6 to 12 years and with difficulties in reading and writing. Read our statutes here. The staff of our schools are around 20 people, all of them Palestinians. A manager from Sweden chosen by the board runs the administration and serves on a volontary basis in periods of three months at a time. The work is financed by support from individuals, organizations, churches and is based on christian values.
