Sirelma Group
Sirelma Group was established in 1989 from the merger of two companies, SELMA S.p.a, established in 1963, specializing in the forging of medium and large sized items, and SIREM S.r.l., established in 1980, which was dedicated to the production of smaller items. Sirelma Group was immediately able to offer customers a wide range of products with a single contact point and is now an international leader in hot forging and ring rolling of steel. Six production lines, all of them equipped with controlled temperature induction heating systems, product industrialization with modern computer systems and Total Quality have enabled Sirelma Group to set itself up as a valuable partner. The development process, sought-after and achieved over the years, was accomplished through continuous productive, technical and organizational innovation and through an attentive policy to minimize risks and maintain a low environmental impact. Nowadays, Sirelma Group has a capacity of 28,000 tons of forged and hot rolled pieces per year, with a workforce of about 100 employees. HOT FORGING Forging equipments include one drop hammer and five mechanical presses from 800 to 4000 tons. Forgings range from 1 to 170 kg: wind turbine pinions, bevel crowns and pinions, gears, wheel hubs, gear housings and flanges are amongst our most significant productions. RING ROLLING The radial and radial-axial ring rolling mills serving the five press lines allow the manufacturing of rings from diameter 120 to 800 mm.
