At Skylands Energy, we keep step with the past! Yes, the past. We are guided by the values of earlier, more patient times when personal, attentive customer service and ethical business practices were commonplace. We also look to the future for inspiration on the best new products and practices. Skylands Energy is the consolidation of numerous small, family-owned heating oil companies that have been serving New Jersey for decades. They believed, as we do now, that satisfied employees provide better customer service. When we took the name Skylands in 1998, bringing all our companies under one umbrella, we made it a rule that every employee of every company we merge with has the option to continue employment with us. Most are still with us. In addition to heating oil, we provide heating system installations, air conditioning service and installation, plumbing repairs and installations, and pavement seal coating. We also offer other petroleum products: diesel fuel, kerosene, and gasoline, as well as tank systems and corrosion protection.
