State Library of Western Australia
The State Library of Western Australia Foundation was established in 2009 as a not for profit organisation. The Foundation is a Public Ancillary Fund with Deductible Gift Recipient status. Since our formation we have been dedicated to fostering the support of the community at large for the work of the State Library of Western Australia and the wider public library network, and the issues of literacy and learning they pursue. The State Library of Western Australia, located in the heart of Perth's cultural precinct, is our gateway to a world of discovery. Here you can access books magazines and newspapers, undertake research, attend workshops, hear engaging speakers, watch films, listen to music and much more. Many of these resources can also be accessed online from wherever you are in the world. Through the process of reading we gain knowledge and learn. Through learning we discover, and through discovery we form new ideas and create effective and robust communities. The Foundation is committed to make this a reality.
