We get most of our traffic based on the helpful content we create, as a lot of people find us as they're looking for the best way to do a roadmap or how to manage a backlog, etc. We're just dabbling in things like affiliate and reseller programs... so far it's new territory, and doesn't seem to be as effective as other routes. We've just started an official referral program, which shows some promise. How does being based in London impact the business? It works for us. There's a huge community of product people based here, and the tech scene is always lively. It makes it easy for us to keep in touch with fellow product people and entrepreneurs who are going through the same stages we are, and we've learned a lot from the folks who surround us. London's also well positioned for communication with the rest of the world. We have customers spread around everywhere, including a growing pocket in Australia - meaning we have traffic and customer queries coming in at all hours. London's right in the middle, so we can make the most of the hours in the day. That said, most of our customers are still US based, so there are days (or late evenings) I wish we were a little closer to them. We've also got access to development resources in Europe. We work with a fantastic development team in Slovenia. We couldn't match that quality/price by hiring in London, but the fact that they are only an hour out makes it simple enough to keep in constant contact with the team. How do you see the startup and investment ecosystem developing in London? It's only going to keep growing. When I first moved to London about 5 years ago, I asked around for info on where the 'tech' stuff happened... and at the time, no one pointed me to the Silicon Roundabout or Tech City area - it just wasn't a thing back then. Today, the area, and indeed, the entire city seems to be buzzing with startups and with the entire ecosystem that's grown around it. What's next for ProdPad? We're building for a growing market, and we've barely touched the surface, so I expect we'll keep accelerating. Our users are amazing, and we get such helpful feedback (as you'd expect when you build for product managers!). We're building our team, and tackling some big plans in our roadmap. Down the line, we'll likely build ProdPad to be even more comprehensive - teams building products need all manner of tools, and it's a hugely underserved market. We want to build this next generation of useful, intuitive tools.
