The Town of Smithfield in conjunction with the American Legion and the Boy Scouts is offering US Flag Disposal and Proper Retirement of the US Flag at 231 Hospital Road Recycling Center The Town of Smithfield is proud to offer the convenience of US Flag disposal at the Town of Smithfield Recycling Center. The site has been created to have a repository for old/worn US Flags. Flags that are placed in these bins are collected and destroyed in a dignified manner. The flag should not be disposed of in your household waste container or placed on the ground for pickup.
