SMU is a Chilean food retailer which operates a chain of grocery stores, supermarkets, food and beverage e-commerce site, and convenience stores with locations across Chile and Peru. Their primary business units include Unimarc, Mayorista 10, Alvi, OK Market, and Telemercados. Their products include a wide variety of general grocery, food items, beverages, and household goods. The company was formed in 2007 with the merger of Alvaro Saieh and Unimarc, and subsequent acquisition of multiple companies. The headquarters location is in Santiago, Chile.
