Swaziland National Housing Board

SNHB is a Category A Public Enterprise which reports to Government via the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. As a statutory body, SNHB adheres to the dictates of the Public Enterprise Unit which monitors the apt functioning of all parastatals and is run by a board of directors consisting of nine (9) members, including a chairman, appointed by the Minister. The Board's term of office is for a period of not more than three years. SNHB is undergoing a transformation process which began in 2007 and is still ongoing. This process has meant organizational restructuring and at completion will see the staff complement stand at 74 members. The transformation process will see the Housing Board adequately carry out its strategic objectives of: • Ensuring sustainable growth and development. • Increasing Profitability.
