Socon Sonar - Ultrasonic Cavity Control - Cavern and cavity surveying - Underground surveying services include: echometric cavity surveying using ultrasonics and laser systems in uncased and cased cavities filled with air, water and brine as well as with gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons, CCL, pressure, temperature and dew point surveys, interface determinations using gamma-gamma or pulse-neutron-gamma surveys as well as sampling in liquids. Five fully equipped cable trucks as well as a container system are available for these surveys, which can be performed at pressures up to 300 bar (4500 psi) with SOCON's up-to-date lubricator technology. SOCON also provides various crane systems so that surveying is generally possible without calling on third party companies. SOCON has now some 30 years of experience with echometric cavity surveying.
