Patient driven and community focused, Seven Oaks General Hospital is dedicated to improving the quality of health care in Winnipeg and Manitoba. The hospital is a key provider of health care to residents of the entire Winnipeg region, as well as the Selkirk, Stonewall and Interlake areas. Established in 1981, Seven Oaks General Hospital is an accredited, 275 bed acute care facility, with a long tradition of promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. Over the last 20 years, the hospital has initiated many innovative approaches to health care such as Program Management, Patient Caremap system, Bed Management practices and the Wellness Institute. The wide range of services offered, enhance our ability to provide quality health care to the citizens of our community and to continue to fulfill our Mission of, "A healing community dedicated to providing holistic health and wellness services with skill and compassion." Looking ahead, Seven Oaks General Hospital's Emergency Department and the public it serves will benefit from a much anticipated renovation and expansion to meet rapidly changing and increasingly complex needs.
