Star of Hope

At Star of Hope Mission two-thirds of those we serve each day are women and children. Many of these families arrive at our Women & Family Emergency Shelter after having lived in their cars or after outstaying their welcome in a family member's or friend's home. It is always our hope that once these families have overcome their immediate crisis situation, they will choose to stay with us long enough to receive the help they need to achieve independent living once again. At our annual Banquet last month, Chandra Bowie shared how her life was changed through the love and care provided to her and her family by Star of Hope Mission. Chandra's story is a testament to how God can turn a hopeless situation into a "dream come true" thanks to Star of Hope supporters, like you ... who give of your time, talent and treasure to help those most in need. I hope you are inspired by how the love and support shared with Chandra and her family can have a far-reaching and positive ripple effect for many years to come.
