Sonamet

Sonamet's mission is to provide state-of-the-art, quality fabrications and survey services to oil and gas companies for both shallow and deepwater projects. Sonamet is a joint-venture between Sonangol, Subsea 7 and other minority shareholders. Taking a "Made in Angola" approach to its work, Sonamet's goal is to actively participate in the transfer of technology to Angolan industry. To achieve this, the company encourages the development of local industry and related services and provides stable employment for 1,700 people in the country.
