Sonexus Health's Information Technology department supports the organization's five business units and approximately 100 users in a fast-paced and challenging environment. These business units include Access and Patient Support, Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy, and Financial Solutions, all of which have distinct needs. The IT staff of over 20 professionals includes separate teams for project management, development, network administration, quality assurance, and information services. These teams are led by managers and supervisors who report to the Director of Information Technology and the Chief Information Officer. Sonexus Health is currently seeking an Information Services Lead who will be responsible for leading the Information Services Department. This department oversees all aspects of data transfers with Sonexus Health partners, which include manufacturers, specialty pharmacies and distributors, and vendors. Information Services will work closely with the development team during the design and implementation of data transfer processes. These processes are based on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services, PGP encryption, and Secure FTP. Files are transferred in a number of formats, most notably Excel and pipe-delimited flat files. Information Services duties will also include drafting File Transfer Agreements (file format and transfer definitions) with the Project Management Office and coordinating directly with Sonexus Health data partners in the design and execution of these agreements. Monitoring file transfers and coordinating with development and data partners when issues occur is a key ongoing responsibility of the Information Services team. The Information Services Lead will report to the Director of Information Technology and will have experience leading a team, solid knowledge of data transfer concepts, and the ability to write SQL queries to facilitate troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health insurance billing and/or pharmaceutical services.
