Songbyrd

Established in 2015. Songbyrd is a multifaceted space that has a coffee shop, cafe, record store, bar, and venue wrapped all wrapped in one. The Record Cafe features coffee from Southeastern Roastery with organic single roast coffee and espresso, we also offer organic breakfast sandwiches all day and night as well as great sandwiches. You can drink great coffee while you browse through our vinyl stacks, where you can purchase new and used LPs. Our Voice-o-Graph booth allows visitors to record their very own 7-inch record and take it home. Want to come by at night? Come to have a killer burger or hotdog (vegetarian or meat) and then enjoy one of our free show in the Vinyl Lounge or a ticketed touring show downstairs on our main stage in the Byrd Cage. Songbyrd Record Cafe opened in April of 2015, the first of three spaces at Songbyrd DC, and focuses on great food, coffee, and vinyl. In October of 2015 the bar and downstairs venue was opped and has become a steadfast place to see up and coming artist from around the world.
