South Carolina ENT
SCENT was founded in 2002 with the goal of changing the delivery of ENT care in the Midlands. We set out to provide children and adults throughout the Midlands with medical care that is comprehensive, cost-effective, evidenced-based, and of the highest caliber. We are a privately-owned practice. Therefore, we do not have the heavy administrative expenses that some other medical facilities have. Many of our tests and procedures are significantly lower in cost than other medical institutions. We are proud to have a long tradition of providing prompt access to high-quality care, with a commitment to see new patients within a week and extensive call coverage at the local hospitals. We also take our responsibility to the community seriously by accepting all major insurance plans, including Tricare, Medicare, and Medicaid. The appointment time you receive will not be dictated by your insurance coverage. We believe that we should bring health care to the patient, rather than be inconveniencing the patient with unnecessary travel. We therefore maintain locations that are conveniently located throughout the Midlands. We also manage patients both in the hospital as well as outside the hospital to provide continuity of care. You and your family can count on us to deliver: Board-certified otolaryngologists with additional sub-specialties in Pediatric ENT, Sleep Medicine, Allergy, and Otology. A collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that helps achieve patient safety and better outcomes. State-of-the-art facilities conveniently located in seven locations across the Midlands Personalized, timely patient care and customer service to provide maximum comfort, convenience, and privacy A full complement of leading-edge on-site diagnostics, including digital CT, Ultrasound, endoscopy, sleep laboratory, dizziness testing, allergy testing, hearing evaluations, and more. We want our patients to be informed about ear, nose and throat issues and treatments, because informed patients make better decisions about their health and well-being. That is why we've included a section on this website covering common topics associated with ear, nose and throat diagnostics and treatments. Various topics include allergies, hearing loss, nasal obstruction, thyroid problems, head and neck cancer, sleep disorders, sinus infections, and much more. We encourage you to look through these pages whenever you have an interest or concern related to ear, nose and throat health. In these web pages, you'll find information about SCENT, including our locations, maps, directions, hours of operation, insurance policies and appointment scheduling. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have or to request an appointment. We hope you'll find our practice offers the accessibility and personal commitment you look for from an ear, nose and throat specialist.
