Pediatric Associates of Savannah, PC, has a proud history in caring for the children of Savannah. We started as 3 physicians working together since the 1950's, and incorporated into our present group in 1971. Since then we have grown from a 5 doctor practice in Medical Arts Center, to our present home on Waters Avenue. We now have 10 pediatricians that spend time at this location as well as our two satellite offices in Pooler and Whitemarsh Island. Our doctors are focused on quality patient care, and participate in the full spectrum of your child's needs including checkups, sick visits, and hospital care. We are also committed to medical education, and participate in medical teaching for Mercer University, Medical College of Georgia, South University, and Georgia Southern University. We understand how important access to timely care is for our families, and children do not take a day off from getting sick. We have offered 365 days of the year office availability at our Main Office since we first opened our doors. Our satellite offices are open Monday - Friday, and see both checkups and sick visits. Most patients see their regular physician, which we encourage, but this is not always the best option in every situation, so our patients may visit any of our 3 locations. All of our offices are linked by electronic medical records, so wherever you are seen, we have access to your child's entire medical history. All of our offices have certified laboratory services, and in most cases any lab testing your child requires can be accomplished during your visit. We offer all vaccines recommended by the CDC and AAP for both the routine immunization schedule and seasonal influenza vaccines. We also participate in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, which offers reduced cost vaccines for those who have insurance programs that do not adequately cover vaccines. We participate in almost every major insurance program, and are on staff at Memorial Health University Hospital and St Joseph's/Candler Hospitals.
