The company was founded to transport petroleum products from North Augusta, SC to customers in the surrounding area. Initially, petroleum hauling included the immediate Central Savannah River Area utilizing the petroleum terminals in North Augusta. Since its establishment, Southern Oil Transport now serves customers' needs in Belton, Spartanburg, Columbia, Charleston, Hilton Head, Savannah, as well as North Augusta. As part of our company service offerings, we utilize Verizon Reveal tracking devices in each of our units. This allows us to track our drivers' locations in real time. This system will time stamp the delivery with the loading manifest for proof positive GPS delivery confirmation.
