They have over 37 years of construction expertise and are operated as a family-owned business. Throughout its existence, Southwood has constructed numerous schools, commercial and industrial projects, sewage pump stations, and sewage and water treatment plants. In constructing these projects, Southwood has operated as a full-service site company performing site excavation, utility storm sewer, stone and paving. Southwood has performed excavations to 60' deep as well as multistory building structures. Southwood owns and maintains its own fleet of equipment which includes dozers, loaders, excavators, off-road trucks, backhoes, and cranes. In addition, Southwood has been involved in several design-build projects for construction, dealerships, marine facilities, office/warehouse projects and industrial facilities.
