Specialities Group Holding Company Co. (KSC Public) was established in 1959 under the name of Alghanim Specialities Company (W.L.L). It became a holding company in 2006. It is the first company in Kuwait specialized in manufacturing and importing special construction chemicals and waterproofing systems with all necessary support and services. It's known as one of the best in the trading, manufacturing construction materials & chemicals, contracting and construction services. The Company's strategy is to maximize the return of its subsidiaries, especially Alghanim Specialities Co., in the commercial and industrial sectors by expanding regionally in the Gulf area while focusing upon local market opportunities, with great emphasis on specialized works and projects in the contracting/construction sector. The Company has diversified its investments and maximized the shareholders' returns by seeking direct investments in the real estate sector through Specialities Real Estate Co. (W.L.L.) and in the energy sector through Specialties Energy Co. (W.L.L.), the newly formed two subsidiaries.
