Specialist TeleMed (STeM) provides Medical and Surgical Virtual Care Telemedicine consultations to Emergency Departments and Hospitals to increase access to specialty care when needed. As a physician-led company, we understand firsthand the unique facility needs as well as the physician concerns and requirements experienced by local providers and hospitals on a daily basis. We strive to customize and match those needs with our physician telemedicine services, while providing the most cost-efficient specialist access solution in the industry. Specialist TeleMed (STeM) is a Joint Commission accredited service offering the most complete and comprehensive telemedicine platform and services available in North America. We have expanded the options for telemedicine to include individual service lines for General Neurology/TeleStroke and Emergency Psychiatry, as well as Neurosurgery and Spine - compiling for the first time a complete telemedicine neuro-platform. Additional specialties including Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Urology, Nephrology, ENT, Cardiology, Pulmonology, General Surgery/Trauma, Critical Care/ICU, and several others are available depending on your unique needs. Infectious Disease, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and others are also being offered in selected hospital-supported outpatient clinics for our outpatient clinical telemedicine services. While both the medical and non-operative surgical specialties offered above are robust and complete, we tailor the services to the needs of the facility and their needs in the acute care setting, while maximizing capabilities of the local physicians and facilities.
