Sperrin Switchgear Ltd was founded in June 1996 by Niall McGuigan (Technical Director) and Terry Reilly (Sales Director) and is situated in Draperstown. Niall and Terry have already gained over 45 years experience in electrical switchgear manufacturing companies. The company currently employs approximately 30 employees ranging from Electrical supervisors, Electricians, Apprentice Electricians, Fitters, Assemblers and Office staff. Since the company was formed, it has maintained a high quality in the manufacture of Main Switchboards, Sub Switchboards, Motor Control Centres and P.F.C Equipment etc. All panels are assembled using an ASTA certified busbar system and CE marked components from manufacturers like Groupe Schneider, ABB, Siemens, Dorman Smith, Mitsubishi, Terasaki, Square D and many more. We have rapidly grown to become a market leader in manufacturing of electrical switchgear and control panels in Northern Ireland, as well as exporting to England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland. We at Sperrin Switchgear pride ourselves on delivering a quality product, which meets the Contractor and Consultant's specifications on time and at the right price. Before a panel leaves the factory, it undergoes rigorous safety and functional tests, which are complimented by a thorough backup service. This backup service begins with the arrival of a panel on site and throughout the duration of the warranty. Our Sales team is readily available to answer any queries concerning design, manufacture, and installation or upgrading of an existing switchboard / panel.
