Spring Brook Country Club
Established in 1921, Spring Brook Country Club is a family oriented, private club dedicated to providing an outstanding golf course and excellence in social and other sporting activities in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere while preserving the rich history of the club. The Club boasts an 18 hole championship golf course and a fully stocked pro shop, a state-of-the-art racquets facility which includes four Har-Tru tennis courts, lighted platform tennis courts and a Tennis Hut. The pool facility has a competition size swimming pool, a pool house and snack bar. Numerous competitive, casual and social activities surround every aspect of this great facility. Its 28,000 square foot clubhouse sits perched on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of the golf course and the pristine Armstrong Pond. You will enjoy this spectacular view from virtually every part of the clubhouse which features the newly renovated Travis Tavern, Main Dining Room and Formal Dining Room. The Clubhouse also offers a Grille Room with a covered terrace. The entire clubhouse and its terraces are enjoyed by members and friends to view the amazing fireworks display at the Club's Independence Day Celebration. Spring Brook's golf course designer is golf legend Walter J. Travis. The Gauntlet, Spring Brook's three consecutive par 3's surrounding the Armstrong Pond, adds an unusual and interesting challenge to this magnificent course. The Club's practice facility and halfway house further enhance the golf experience for its members. Spring Brook Country Club is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, one of only a few clubs in the area to be recognized for its natural habitat, conservation and documentation of indigenous plants and wildlife. The Club is rich in history and tradition. It has hosted numerous Professional and Amateur Tournaments over the years, including the New Jersey State Open in 1955, 1958, 1965, 1973 and 2010. Spring Brook maintains a full schedule of Member and Member/Guest Tournaments every season. In addition to golf, tennis, paddle and swim activities, Spring Brook offers its members a wide variety of social and holiday events year round.
