?The Spring Lake Schools Foundation was founded in 1983 with a mission to supplement the school district's available funding to create innovative educational opportunities and maintain academic excellence. To achieve that mission, the SLSF raises money through: * The Buy A Brick program to honor your SLPS student * Personal and corporate donations * The Shindig - a fun community fundraising party * Endowed funds at the Grand Haven Community Foundation The SLSF annually gives money back to the schools through: * Grants to individual teachers and administrators * Block giving to the district for large curriculum purchases * Student awards and prizes In the past 4 years the Spring Lake Schools Foundation has given over $510,000 to the students and educators who help to make our district GREAT!
