ISO 9001:2008-certified since January 18, 2011, Somphol Bedding and Mattress Industry Co., Ltd. (SPB) has been the mattress and bedding supplier of choice for deluxe hotels, resorts, exclusive residences and large scale accommodation projects, both in Thailand and abroad, since its establishment in 1991. The Company's clients include the Crown Property Bureau, Centara Hotels and Resorts, Six Senses Resorts and Spas, Minor International, Ratchabhatr Universities and Tune Hotels. SPB's comprehensive range of products includes all kinds of mattresses, extra beds, double-decker beds, sofa beds, pillows, duvets, bed linens, slippers and bathrobes, to name but a few. Mattresses and beddings of special sizes and specifications could also be made to order. Since August 2011, SPB has also been the sole distributor of Robbe & Berking, the world-renowned, exclusive German silversmith, in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and the Maldives. SPB is based in Bangkok and has representatives in Phuket, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh City, Yangon and the Maldives. The Company's main plant is in Ayudhya, a province an hour drive north of Bangkok. SPB currently employs around 150 staff and is undergoing a rapid expansion to become one of the leading mattress and bedding manufacturers in Southeast Asia.
