Springs Rescue Mission

Springs Rescue Mission

From its beginning in 1996 when the charity's founders began providing sandwiches to homeless people in parks and under bridges, Springs Rescue Mission has rapidly grown into a wide range of programs designed to serve the 27,000 households living below the poverty line in the Pikes Peak region. Today the charity maintains a Four Star "Exceptional Charity" rating with Charity Navigator and has received awards for excellence in human services from the El Pomar Foundation in 2014 and for collaboration from Pikes Peak United Way in 2015. The Springs Rescue Mission's unique offering of relief and rehabilitation programs is a recognized and invaluable part of the Colorado Springs community.
