Spring Touch Lawn
Spring Touch Lawn & Pest Control was started by Marv Kottke in 1973 as a neighborhood mowing service in Mankato, Minnesota. He continued his mowing service during high school and college and then he started treating lawns for weeds and applied fertilizer in the early 1980s. As Marv continued his education at Mankato State University, he also began attending the University of Minnesota studying Horticulture. Afterward, he began focusing on growing his business with the help of his wife, Linda. He hired his first employee in 1989 and we are delighted to say that he is still with us today specializing in irrigation maintenance. As of 2017, we have over 60 employees during our season and 15 year-round employees helping us provide lawn care applications, sprinkler installation & maintenance, perimeter insect control, mosquito control, and flea and tick control. Our team has over 150+ years of combined lawn care experience with horticulture training from the University of Minnesota and Australia. Each technician undergoes yearly training, is licensed by the State of Minnesota, and meets all their requirements. We have a knowledgeable team, along with five family members, working within the business. Spring Touch was founded as a family-run company and has continued that tradition for 45 years. We take pride in being locally owned and operated. It is our privilege to serve you, and we continue to look forward to serving Mankato and southern Minnesota for decades to come.
