Squadra Corse - Politecnico di Torino
Squadra Corse was founded in 2005 by the passion for racing cars of ten automotive engineering students of the Politecnico di Torino. The SC05, the first vehicle developed by the team, made his debut with the "Rosso Corsa" livery that characterizes all the Italian racing cars since the dawn of time and the number 46 is a homage to the movie "Days of Thunder," in which a young Tom Cruise raced in NASCAR with this number on the side of his car. Years of experience and development, combined with the desire to improve, have yielded excellent results. The first step of the podium, is the main focus and passion is moving us higher and higher. The glittering trophies won in recent years show that the road traveled so far is the right one. Preserve the essence of a student team led by a great desire to learn, projecting us to the world of motorsport, which is all a dream and that for many of us came true. Sporting activities and didactic work togheter; Squadra Corse is in fact a great training ground to which large companies are looking with intense interest, considering the time spent within the team, a forerunner of today's job places where students are going. The ability to follow a project at 360 degrees allows to deal with the dynamics of a business and to struggle with the difficulties that this entails.
