Srujna was started in 2011 by Jyotika Bhatia and Vaishali Gandhi as a project with the aim to support women from vulnerable communities to gain skills and become financially independent. " We met women rescued from human trafficking and were overcome with a feeling to help them. Their biggest concern was that since they were not educated their livelihood options were limited. So we started Srujna", Jyotika Bhatia, Srujna has since then evolved into a NGO with a holistic approach towards women empowerment through livelihood generation.
