Srvu

The SRVU has been the Student Union of VU University Amsterdam since 1947. Besides offering various services, it is also our goal to represent the best interests of the students to the university administration. At the same time we work to further the development of the university. One of the main goals of the SRVU is to represent student interests. On local scale, we do this by appointing council members to the VU student council. Members of the VU student council have a strong voice in the decisions that are made by the board of directors at the VU. On national scale, the SRVU participates in the LSVb, the national student union. The SRVU provides a number of valuable services to students: the cheapest bike sale in Amsterdam, Legal aid on multiple issues and assists students in finding housing accomodations with the SRVU Housing Office.
