Stag Radio

StagRadio is the student radio station at the University of Surrey. We broadcast online and on-air 24/7 during term time. We have space to accommodate absolutely everyone. Whether you are after a playlist show like Nick Grimshaw, or a specialist one like Zane Lowe, or something completely different then we have room for you! If you don't fancy talking on the mic, then there are just as many chances to get involved off air as on it. We are looking for people to join our marketing, advertising, technical and production. You can also get involved with our music team who help decide what gets played, maybe you can find the next number 1? The best part of StagRadio is that NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! We provide you with all the training you need to create an entertaining radio show, or if you want to get your hands dirty with the technical side of things, we will teach you everything you need to know. Even if you aren't a student, anyone is welcome to join in and contribute to one of University of Surrey's most active groups. As with any society we have an excellent social side too! It is a great place to meet new people and create lasting friendships. Along with hearing brand new music, you also get to go to gigs for free and interview famous artists. We've interviewed such names as Example, Rizzle Kicks, Wheatus and Faithless to name a few. To get involved, come along to one of our General Meetings every Thursday at 7: 15pm in TB06.
