Standard Profil is now the second largest Automotive Sealing Systems supplier in Europe, by sales volume, employs approximately 6500 people, and operates 12 manufacturing facilities (including Joint Ventures) in Turkey, Spain, Morocco, Russia, India, South Africa, and China. In addition to R&D centres in Duzce (Turkey) and Logrono (Spain), Standard Profil has Customer Service Offices in Cologne, Detroit, Munich, Paris, Turin, and Wolfsburg. We believe this acquisition positions Standard Profil well for further profitable expansion. With this transaction, Standard Profil both expands our manufacturing and Customer Service capabilities and better aligns our manufacturing footprint with customer plants. The reaction of our customers to this acquisition has been strongly positive. The addition of the Logrono R&D Centre, the Cologne office, and the Joint Ventures in Russia and India, combined with the sharing of best practice in Product and Process Development, will enhance the capability of the enlarged business to meet the needs of our customers globally.
