Start It Smart

Start It Smart is the biggest entrepreneurship club in Bulgaria and a co-founder of iCUE (International Consortium of University Entrepreneurs) along with clubs from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden and Spain. Why do we do it? We believe that everything that is happening around us is a reflection of our actions. We are people who are concerned about the environment and want to be part of the solution, and not part of the problem. We believe that while we develop ourselves and learn from starting businesses we develop the environment as well. Our goal is to spread the entrepreneurship culture and way of thinking among the young people. No matter how far we go we make friends and contacts along the way. How do we do it? We always try to be innovative in our actions and to create sustainable models which will last for the future. We believe that motivation, initiative and responsibility can transform any idea into a world-class product. We openly support other organizations and initiatives that develop the entrepreneurial environment in Bulgaria and worldwide. What do we do? We invest our time in creating valuable projects which will live long after they have become just a memory for us. A memory for us but a current project for someone else. That is the main business model of Start It Smart. Out main project is the competition for innovative business ideas 3Challenge. It is an entrepreneurship tournament for young people in Bulgaria. It is divided into 3 stages in which a simple idea is transformed into a working business. The main prize for the participants is the mentorship program where successful entrepreneurs and companies give advice, feedback and support the teams in order to help them implement their projects.
