Since 1964, Steel Storage Systems has concentrated on solving the diverse and difficult problems of storing and handling metal. We serve the metals distribution and metal working industries exclusively, using our knowledge and experience to design and manufacture a wide array of heavy-duty racking and conveying equipment. Our products include patented SpaceSaver Racks for bars, shapes, tubes and our Roll-out Sheet Rack. They feature unique storage receptacles that roll out into an aisle for immediate access for loading and retrieving material. The resulting time savings and storage density have made them widely accepted, with hundreds of installations worldwide. Uses for the racks have gone far beyond the original application for storing metals. Steel Storage has produced systems for dies, fixtures, aircraft and aerospace materials, even missiles. Conveyors include powered and idler rollers, transfers, loaders, measuring systems, order-filling stations, and many accessory options. Items are available individually or complete systems. Systems can be tailored to your specific needs accounting for all the details of the application and layout.
