Stennis Center for Public Service

The John C. Stennis Center for Public Service is a federal, legislative branch agency created by Congress in 1988 to promote and strengthen public service in America. Located in Starkville, Mississippi, it is governed by a board appointed by both Democratic and Republican leaders in Congress. The mission of the Stennis Center is to attract young people to public service careers, and to provide training for congressional staff and for leaders in public service.
