STEP Construction

STEP has created a chemical industry facilities construction department. Alexei Plaksin was appointed its director. The company has a number of competitive advantages in this market, including having its own team specializing in complex pipeline welding and unique experience in construction of facilities in the industrial gas sector. STEP has signed an agreement to build a Class A business center in the center of Saint Petersburg on Aptekarskaya Embankment. The project client is LUKOIL-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt. The business center covers 26.6 thousand sq. m. and will be completed in the second quarter of 2014. In addition, STEP won the tender to build a pitch storage facility at the Cherepovets Steel Mill (CherMK) for OOO Rtgers Severtar, a joint venture between Severstal and Rtgers.
