St Augustine Society
St. Francis House serves an average of over 380 hot meals each day. In 2011, 124,564 meals were served in the St. Francis House dining room. These free and nutritious meals are often the only meal of the day for the poor and homeless of the area. Daily lunchtime meals served to the public are provided seven days a week. Breakfast and dinners are provided to housed residents only. Seasonal Migrant Feeding Outreach Program - In response to the desperate conditions of many farm workers, St. Francis House, with the help of many regular volunteers and generous donations, delivers sandwiches and provisions to the farm workers in Hastings and East Palatka. This program runs between November and June and provided over 60,000 meals in 2011 along with personal hygiene products and clothing.
