2. St. Gabriel is the largest school in the Kentucky Archdiocese. 3. Organizations like our PTSO raise many of the funds needed to keep our school on the cutting edge of technology and to keep your children up to date and in demand. 4.PTSO is an all volunteer organization who put in a painful amount of hours to raise funds for your childrens' school and all the programs they enjoy and need to stay competitive. There are not many of us so we rely on volunteers to help our events be successful. With the above being said, it is a great disappointment and embarrassment that we have approximately 5 volunteers for this weekend's chili supper and it will possibly have to be cancelled if we cannot fill volunteer positions. We have sent out notifications in every possible way including via email, text messages, school websites, church bulletins, phone calls, facebook, etc. With the sheer number of families in our school, it is impossible for our volunteer board to contact everyone via phone. We depend on the families of our school to step up and volunteer when the notifications are sent out. Many will say they just assumed we knew they would pitch in. We cannot assume anyone is available. Please, if you are able, email ([email protected]) or text the following if you can volunteer on Saturday. We need help all day with getting the chili ready, setting up the cafeteria, clean up, and supervising the jumpies and craft tables in the gym. We are not asking that you stay all day; an hour or two will suffice.
