Stillwater Living Magazine
Stillwater Living Magazine was founded in 2004 by Sarah Little. After twelve years of building the Magazine into a successful publication, Sarah decided to explore new projects and adventures, both professionally and personally. Because she wanted to see the reins of Stillwater Living Magazine passed to someone who would continue her legacy of publishing a local community oriented publication focused on showcasing Stillwater, Oklahoma, she reached out to Jefferson and Ammie Bryant to take over its leadership. Jefferson Bryant has over 20 years of experience in sales and has spent more than a decade producing quality technical, editorial, and advertising content for over a dozen different print and digital publications. He has also contributed articles to Stillwater Living Magazine. Jefferson's primary focus has been automotive journalism; he is the author of six books and he is the editor in chief of Street Tech Magazine. Jefferson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His parents met one another while earning their degrees from OSU. He grew up in Midwest City, Ponca City, and Colorado Springs before moving to Stillwater to attend OSU. He has lived and worked in Stillwater since 1997. Throughout Jefferson's freelance automotive journalism career, Ammie Bryant has served as his copy editor. In 2008, Ammie began working for the Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History. It was through her role as Museum Director that she became acquainted with Sarah Little. Ammie has contributed to each issue of Stillwater Living Magazine since January of 2009. As the Sheerar Museum's Director, Ammie had the opportunity to learn more about Stillwater-both its past and its present-and worked to build relationships between the Sheerar Museum and other organizations throughout the community. She resigned from her position with the Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History in June 2016 to focus on her family as well as Stillwater Living and other community projects. Ammie was born in Perry, Oklahoma and grew up in Ponca City. She earned her BA in Social Sciences and Secondary Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. Ammie also attended graduate school at OSU, earning her MA of History. She moved to Stillwater in 2000 when she married Jefferson. Jefferson and Ammie chose to build their life together in Stillwater and cannot imagine raising their three children anywhere else. They are excited to take over Stillwater Living and continue the work Sarah began in 2004.
