By shining a light on this hidden crime, we can change the environment and increase the risk to the trafficker and the safety of the vulnerable. As essential as rescue and rehabilitation are to those who find themselves caught in this crime, and as essential as it is to prosecute those who commit them, we will never rescue or prosecute our way out of this global evil.
