SPM has expanded - particularly in digital. We're excited to announce that Matt Proud has joined the SPM team as Interactive Media Developer. Over the last couple of years, we've worked with Matt on numerous projects, including Hogan for Governor, where he served as Digital Director. We're thrilled that he has chosen to anchor his career here. Mid-year, Nicole Drummond also joined our team. Her role as Jr. Digital Director encompasses social media, digital ad production, and media-buy execution. And...she's proved to be invaluable in mastering the ever-changing landscape of new social media platforms...#Snapchat. One might wonder, are Matt & Nicole part of the "Digital" Department? Well, yes, but I think it's fair to say that all SPM team member are "part of the digital department" at this point! We can all agree that Stuart has clearly mastered Twitter, and I dare you to try to count the "screens" in Russ' office (TV, desktop, laptop, iPhone, iWatch, iPad, and as of last week, iPad Pro). It's fair to say that we continue to find "digital" to be a bit of a misnomer. In 2015, we've been a part of dozens of races and projects this year, and all of them had a digital component. Siloing "digital" in any way, shape, or form is something we strongly advise against doing. It's been incredibly effective for our clients to have all of their media produced and executed by the same team.
