Sturgill & Associates LLP is a full service certified public accounting firm with offices located in Westminster, Maryland and Hanover, Pennsylvania. Since 1963, when James G. Sturgill began practicing public accounting, the firm has grown to 20 professionals and support staff. Our firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Membership in the AICPA requires a firm to undergo a "Peer Review" every three years. A peer review is an exhaustive review of our quality control standards and procedures by an independent reviewer approved by the AICPA. The most recent peer review of Sturgill and Associates LLP was completed in November 2012 and we earned the highest PASS designation under the program.
