Suminoe Textile Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company chiefly engaged in the manufacture and sale of interior products, such as carpets, drapes and moquette. Along with its subsidiaries and associated companies, the Company has three business segments. The Interior segment is engaged in the manufacture of carpets and carpet materials, such as polyester textile materials, the sale of interior products, as well as the storage, process and other works for interior products. The Automobile and Automobile Interior segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobile interior products. The Others segment is engaged in the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) business, the leasing of real estate properties, the provision of non-life insurance agency services, the provision of repair services, the operation and management of showrooms, the provision of testing services and others.
