Founded as Heege Freizeittechnik GmbH more than 40 years ago and acquired by Sunkid GmbH in 2009, this traditional German brand trades under the umbrella brand of Austrian based Sunkid today. Sunkid also is the global market leader in (person) conveyor belts for outdoor use and has installed more than 3,300 facilities around the world. The Sunkid global sales network makes all products available worldwide and permits support at the customer's premises anywhere. Family Rides and components to the amusement industry are produced in Bassenheim near Coblenz (Germany), while conveyor solutions are built in Bad Goisern (Austria).
