We develop and supply chemicals used for the cleaning of drilling mud, the treatment of oil drilling waste, refinery waste, oil sludge and the recovery of oil from waste. We also supply our products for wellbore solutions such as casing cleaning and filtercake removal and Enhanced Oil Recovery. We are based in Scotland, just outside Edinburgh, in Livingston. We supply our products from our manufacturing sites in Scotland (where we have two manufacturing locations) and from our manufacturing site in Houston, Texas. We don't just supply chemicals though. Active globally, SAS has supplied its products around the world since 2000. Founded in Edinburgh, Scotland by John Harrison and myself, Mark Zwinderman, the company gradually earned its place in the oilfield world with its unique microemulsion chemistry. Equally, if not more, important is the approach to problem solving we at SAS have worked on for many years. It is not about being a solutions provider or using buzzwords.
