Based in Cleveland, Tennessee, the Company was founded in 1995 as Swift Enterprises, Inc. and reorganized in 2008 into a Limited Liability Company. Greg Swift, Stacy Powell started the LLC with 22 trucks as an Agent of US Xpress. Their goal was to design a logistics company that could cater to the needs of customers as they grew their own businesses. These gentleman had a vision that getting the job done with pride, polish, professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail is what it would take to be appreciated by customers and employees alike. Their vision has proven to be right on target! Swift Enterprises, LLC (SEL) is now 62 trucks strong with 46owner/operators. Swift is adding new lanes and new employees each week. The employee count stands at 121 now and expectations are to grow another 30% to 35% before the end of this year. The company employed 4 people and serviced the South East and North East. In 1995, Greg and his brother wanted to extend Swift Enterprises Inc services. So in 1998, Swift Enterprises, Inc. joined US Xpress. Together they shared the success and worked to grow the Company with a dedicated team and a loyal partnership. Now, in 2011, the Company is adding warehousing and distribution as additional services to its growing list of clientele. Swift Enterprises, LLC's philosophy is to have the best to offer in customer satisfaction, communications, equipment, technology, and most importantly, a dedicated team of employees.
