Switched-On Services

Switched-On Electrical Ltd, now Switched-On Services Ltd, was founded in September 2002, responding to a need in Port Vila for a reliable, quality electrical contractor. The initial staff of two expatriates and three Ni-Vanuatu was quickly shown to be insufficient for the demand for the newly established company. The company quickly grew to include a third expatriate (an electrician) and ten more Ni- Vanuatu, including one office manager. In 2003, having stabilised the business to meet demand while also providing prompt and quality service, it became apparent that Vanuatu was also lacking a quality plumbing and gas fitting service.
